A growing company specialising in the delivery of end-to-end turnkey solutions across the process industries. Following the recent award of a high-profile project, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the lead and drive it through to successful completion.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multi-million-pound industrial pipework installation project across multiple factory sites, with a specific focus on purified water systems. This role covers locations along the M4 corridor and offers the opportunity to take full ownership of large-scale mechanical projects in pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage full project lifecycle for industrial pipework and purified water system installations
* Review and manage construction contracts, oversee mechanical design coordination
* Develop project programmes, allocate labour, and manage workforce productivity
* Procure materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with purified water standards
* Conduct site surveys, manage site setup, and ensure H&S compliance (RAMS, COSHH)
* Lead client meetings, monitor progress, control budgets, and manage variations
* Supervise Contract Managers and deliver validation/compliance documentation
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience managing industrial/mechanical engineering projects
* Demonstrable experience with purified water systems (design, installation, validation)
* Strong understanding of pipework systems and factory installations
* Knowledge of industry standards (USP, EP, cGMP) for purified water applications
* Skilled in contract management, project programming, and cost control
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* In-depth H&S knowledge and ability to work across multiple M4 corridor sites
