Overview

Customer Service – Personal Banker (12 months) – RBS, Fort William, Scotland, United Kingdom

Join us as a Customer Service, Personal Banker in Fort William. You will be the first point of contact in our branches, delivering outstanding service and helping customers with their banking needs.


Responsibilities

* You’ll be integral in guiding and supporting our valued branch customers, helping them to achieve their financial goals
* Proactively find ways to continually enhance our customer banking experience
* Provide general banking requests such as payments, balance inquiries and transfers
* Help customers understand the different ways they can bank with us and the range of services we offer
* Identify opportunities to help customers with simple financial products, collaborating with other teams to provide a seamless customer experience


What you’ll do day-to-day

* Have proactive conversations, understand customer needs and assist with banking needs
* Deliver accurate, seamless and positive customer experiences


Qualifications and skills

* You’ll need a customer-centric approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain products and procedures clearly
* You’ll also need a passion for customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team
* Motivated to develop your career with a focus on continuous improvement


Requirements and visa

* This job does not meet Skilled Worker visa sponsorship requirements
* 12-month role

Working pattern

You’ll work during branch opening hours, typically 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday with rotational Saturdays and some bank holidays. Flexibility in hours is required.
