What the Job Involves Management of the Crematorium services team at Breakspear Crematorium to deliver agreed team plans and performance targets. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for Crematorium and Burials operations. Oversee the Council's registrars’ function and compliance with 2012 Cemeteries regulations. Implementation of health and safety legislation to ensure a safe working environment. Manage and maintain cremation facilities including equipment, buildings, and grounds. Engagement with the community and external stakeholders to develop and maintain the service. Overlook budget management and procurement in line with corporate guidelines. Facilitate service improvement initiatives and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery. Skills Experience in managing staff and resources. Effective budget and financial management. Knowledge of health and safety and risk assessment in a crematorium setting. Ability to manage statutory and administrative functions of a Crematorium.
