Role
Children's Senior Support Worker | Location: Shrewsbury | Contract: Full Time, Permanent | Working hours per week: 40 | Salary: £15.00 - £15.50 per hour | Closing Date: Saturday 31 January 2026
Responsibilities
* Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
* Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
* Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
* Carrying out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
* Supervising in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
* Welcoming a diverse culture in the home
* Creating a safe, family environment for the children
Requirements
* You MUST be 21 due to Ofsted regulations
* Driving is essential due to locations of the homes
* You must have at least six months’ experience in Children’s residential care

* Sleep-in payments (£2,800 to £3,600 per month, based on 8–10 sleep-ins per month)
* 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years

* Shifts include days and sleep-ins; hours vary by home
