Job Summary

A front of house server at Bill's Café and Bar embarks on a journey beyond food and drinks service – they craft unforgettable guest experiences by hosting with flair and personality. Key Responsibilities

1. Knowledge of Menu and Layout: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the menu, promotions, drinks, layout, and site-specific practices.
2. Take Ownership of the Floor: Oversee floor responsibilities proactively, manage tasks effectively, and support restaurant operations.
3. Bar Support: Be cross-trained on bar duties to assist as needed and help maintain cleanliness standards.
4. Welcoming Guests: Greet guests warmly to set a positive tone for their visit.
5. Provide Feedback: Communicate guest comments to managers to improve service quality.
6. Allergy and Safety Procedures: Follow allergy procedures and safety legislation to ensure guest safety.
7. Stay Informed: Keep updated on company and restaurant news via meetings and communication channels.
8. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep all front-of-house areas tidy, including guest toilets.
9. Procedures and Safe Practices: Demonstrate commitment to learning and following correct procedures and safety practices.
10. Health and Safety: Strictly adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
11. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure workflow efficiency.
12. Monitor Food and Drinks: Oversee timing and quality, reporting issues promptly.
13. Training: Complete all training requirements and assist in training new staff.
14. Guest Service Priority: Always prioritize guest satisfaction with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
15. Opening and Closing Duties: Perform all opening and closing tasks diligently for smooth operations.
