We’re looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our client on the outskirts of Royston.
This is a full-time, permanent role which requires the successful candidate to be onsite daily.
Main duties will include:
* Helping to maintain a clean, tidy and safe workplace.
* Carrying out general site tasks and small DIY repairs.
* Receiving and distributing deliveries.
* Supporting and supervising contractors on-site.
* Assisting with internal office moves and desk setups.
* Setting up meeting rooms and café spaces, keeping them clean and ready for use.
* Completing regular safety and housekeeping checks.
* Being available for occasional out-of-hours facilities support.
* Taking on ad hoc tasks as needed
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role.
* Skills such as electrical, plumbing or carpentry are desirable.
* Basic understanding of health and safety.
* Good team-player with a positive attitude.
* Handy with small repairs or building maintenance tasks.
* Forklift licence is a bonus (training provided if not).
