Job Description
A multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Central London is seeking a Project Manager with experience in fast-track fit-out schemes, particularly within the retail, student accommodation, or residential sectors. This position suits a Project Manager eager to develop in a dynamic environment while working closely with clients and delivering high-quality outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to work across a diverse portfolio of projects valued between £150k and £10m. The consultancy prides itself on avoiding sector pigeonholing, allowing the Project Manager to gain exposure across a range of sectors including mixed-use developments.
The Project Manager's role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for client liaison, leading internal and external project teams, and managing timelines and responsibilities to ensure successful delivery. You will also be expected to chair meetings confidently and demonstrate autonomy in decision-making and project progression.
You will contribute to a tight-knit team of 25 professionals, working in a supportive environment that offers consistent mentorship and structured training, including regular internal CPD sessions. While the company operates primarily from its Central London base, discretionary remote working is occasionally offered depending on project requirements.
The Project Manager
The ideal Project Manager will ideally have:
* A strong track record delivering fit-out projects, ideally in retail and/or student accommodation or residential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to lead meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
* A proactive, hands-on approach with strong decision-making capability
* A relevant degree (e.g. BSc in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field)
* Ideally holding or working towards chartership (e.g. APM, RICS, CIOB)
