Temporary until 2nd December 2026, Full time, 37 Hours per week.
We are looking to appoint an ICT Support Officer until 2nd December 2026 to carry out a Systems Administration and Support role within the Business Application Support Team in Digital Services. The Team are based within the Finance and Customer Services Directorate and are responsible for supporting and maintaining the Council's Social Care, Education, Housing, Legal and Libraries business applications. You would be typically responsible for :
* Providing support and assistance to users of systems used by colleagues in Adults Social Care, Libraries and Streets/Grounds and their partners, such as – SystemC/Liquidlogic Adult Social Care (LAS) Case Management, ContrOCC Finance, Daisy Wisdom Document Management, Webroster/Access Care Planning, Sirsi Dynix Library Management, Netloan (Public Access PCs in Libraries), Self Service Kiosks in Libraries and Confirm Asset Management System which is used in Streets/Grounds.
* Configuration, maintenance and monitoring of the above systems ensuring they are fit for purpose, meet current and future operational requirements and drives continuous improvement. This may include managing user accounts, updating address gazetteers and picklists.
* Being involved in upgrades, testing and implementation of new software releases
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including system suppliers to resolve issues
* Contributing to project teams and working groups.
You will need to have experience of Systems Administration within a Business Application or substantial experience as a key user of various Business Applications and have worked in a role which includes dealing with customers and providing advice, guidance, and support.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
