\n\nSchool Attendance Officer\n\nThis outstanding secondary school are looking to secure an attendance officer for a September 2025 start. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within this role in order to be considered.\n\nThe main duties will include:\n\nTo advise the school on strategies to promote the regular and punctual attendance of all pupils and assist with the implementation of agreed strategies.\nUpdate school records, analyse attendance data and provide reports to senior managers and other professionals.\nDisseminate information, both internally and externally, in a timely fashion\nMeet with school staff, pupils and parents to establish the reasons for non attendance/poor punctuality and agree a plan with appropriate strategies and timescales to tackle the issues.\nMake contact with the families in response to allocated referrals through home visits and/or meetings in school\nLiaise with the Education Welfare Officer\nPrepare the appropriate paperwork and present information as required to enable the school to meet its obligations and statutory responsibilities.\nLiaise and work with external organisations as required.\nKeep accurate, clear and concise records of all interventions and consultations and update information on the school's attendance system.Please apply with an updated CV to be considered for this role.\n\nTimePlan Education Group LTD are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to show this commitment.
