A Supervising Social Worker plays a key role in supporting and developing foster carers to provide safe, stable, and nurturing homes for children. They build strong, trusting relationships with carers, offer regular supervision, and ensure high‑quality care through guidance, training, and reflective practice. The role also involves completing annual reviews, facilitating training, maintaining clear and accurate records, and working collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing. It’s a position for someone who is confident, compassionate, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children in care.
