Are you completing your teacher training in Design & Technology and looking for the right school to begin your career with confidence and support? A well-established and Good-rated secondary school in Norwich is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic DT ECT to join their department for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching practice within a structured, encouraging and well-resourced environment.

The Role

You will be teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, delivering practical and theory-based lessons that encourage creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking. * A reduced teaching timetable

* A dedicated subject mentor

* Weekly coaching and developmental feedback

* Departmental planning support and shared schemes of work

* Structured CPD linked directly to your induction pathway

School Information

This is a friendly, community-focused school with a calm, purposeful learning environment. Behaviour is strong across the school, enabling teachers to focus on high-quality teaching rather than classroom management. Leadership is approachable and supportive, with a clear focus on staff wellbeing and professional development. ECTs at the school are well supported and genuinely valued as future leaders.

The DT department benefits from:

* Modern workshop facilities

* CAD/CAM and practical manufacturing equipment

* Strong technician support
