Rate of Pay : £15.20 - £19 .26 per hour Summary: The Tenancy Support Officer provides intensive, high-level support to Rugby Borough Council tenants with complex needs. The primary goal of this role is to enable these individuals to sustain their tenancies, live independently, and navigate the challenges of social housing through personalized support plans. Operating within the Estates Management team, you will work as part of a multi-agency network to ensure a seamless customer journey and positive outcomes for residents Responsibilities: Deliver a tenancy support service to referred customers, developing individual support plans and helping tenants adhere to them from the start of their residency. Assist customers with income maximisation and money management, maintaining a strong understanding of available benefits, grants, and awards. Maintain accurate statistical records and event diaries for legal proceedings when necessary Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, responding to incidents like fire alarms or emergencies according to Council policy. Promote tenant participation and establish productive links with Residents and Tenants Groups. Essentials: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a customer-focused environment. Working towards full membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) or an equivalent professional qualification. Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base, staff, and external organizations both verbally and in writing.
