Job description:
Maintmaster is expanding and we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of OEE projects within manufacturing environments.
This is a hybrid role offering remote flexibility alongside regular customer site visits across the UK, Ireland, the Nordic region, and DACH, with additional international travel depending on project needs.
This is not a purely administrative project role. You will be hands-on, working directly with production data, industrial connectivity, and customer engineering teams to ensure reliable data flows from manufacturing equipment into the Maintmaster OEE platform.
You will take ownership of projects from initial scoping through to delivery, validation, and handover, ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and commercial performance is controlled.
What you will be doing
Leading technical delivery of OEE implementations
Establishing data communication between production equipment and the OEE system
Working with PLC, SCADA, and industrial network environments
Writing and troubleshooting SQL queries to validate and analyse production data
Managing scope, planning, risks, and financial performance
Working closely with customer engineering, IT/OT, and operations teams
What we are looking for
You will have a strong background in automation, controls, or manufacturing systems and be comfortable operating in live production environments.
You should bring
Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server including writing and modifying queries
Experience delivering automation or control system projects in manufacturing
Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, and industrial communications
Experience with industrial connectivity technologies such as OPC, MQTT, or Kepware
The confidence to lead customer discussions and translate requirements into structured delivery plans
Commercial awareness and ownership mindset
Experience delivering OEE solutions or working across IT and OT environments would be advantageous.
Why join Maintmaster
You will work at the heart of digital manufacturing transformation, delivering technically meaningful projects that have a measurable impact on performance. You will have genuine ownership of your projects, autonomy in delivery, and the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our OEE implementation standards. As part of a collaborative and engineering-led organisation, you will play a key role in shaping how we support manufacturing customers across the world.
