Market 36 Recruitment are delighted to be supporting Essex County Council (ECC) on behalf of Tendring District Council in recruiting a Public Convenience Cleaner on a part-time temporary basis. This role involves attending multiple public convenience sites and ensuring they are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Hours: 6:00am – 10:00am and 2:00pm – 4:00pm Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required) Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (mileage paid). You must also be able to drive Council-owned vehicles. Duties Will Include * Cleaning public convenience facilities to required hygiene and safety standards * Locking and unlocking facilities and completing security checks * Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times * Removing blood and other human waste when required * Maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order * Providing cover for attended toilets in Frinton * Assisting members of the public to safely use the facilities * Handling cash from gated entry systems and securing appropriately * Reporting faults and defects to the Technical Officer * Working independently and managing time across multiple sit...
