Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering contractor in their search for a Pipefitter to work in Manchester
Job Details:
1. Pay: £23.25 per hour
2. Hours of Work: 7:30am – 16:00pm, some Saturdays required
3. Duration: Temporary (4 week initial, potentially more work)
4. Benefits: Weekly pay, enhanced overtime rates
Job Role: The Pipefitter will be working on-site at a warehouse in Trafford Park. Pipefitter duties include site measuring and the installation of 2” and 1” galvanised screwed pipework as part of a fit-out project. You’ll be interpreting technical drawings and assisting other trades on-site as required.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
5. Experienced pipefitter within the commercial/building services sector
6. Proven experience working with screwed pipework on similar projects
7. NVQ/C&G in pipefitting or equivalent mechanical engineering discipline
8. CCNSG/SCATS card
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
9. TIG pipe welding experience
10. Experience of fabrication and welding work
11. Ability to work with stainless steel/carbon steel welded pipework an advantage
