Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team in our clients' children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work within a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs within residential or independent living settings. The goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, confidence, patience, and the right skill set are essential to work successfully with these young people and make a positive impact.
In this role, you will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive the unit car and take young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

7. Protect service users from abuse from staff, visitors, or other service users
8. Write accurate reports and keep records for monitoring
9. Attend required training and achieve relevant qualifications
10. Attend work reliably and punctually following a set shift pattern
11. Keep updated with procedures and policy changes
12. Ensure health and safety of yourself and others
13. Undertake additional relevant duties as needed
