Phlebotomist / Healthcare Assistant – Our Future Health (Brighton) Role: Phlebotomist / HCA (Band 2 & 3) Location: Brighton Pay Rates: £18.00 – £25.78 per hour Shifts: Monday – Sunday (08:00 – 19:30) About the Role Pulse Nursing Agency is currently recruiting experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants to support an exciting national research initiative – the Our Future Health Project in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a large-scale healthcare programme while working flexible shifts and earning competitive rates. Pay Rates Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour Saturday: £20.96 per hour Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.78 per hour Key Responsibilities As a Phlebotomist/HCA, you will: Carry out POCT testing , including cholesterol checks Record height, weight, waist measurements, blood pressure, and heart rate Perform venepuncture (2 samples per participant) , ensuring correct labelling and storage Accurately record patient data on the system Monitor participant wellbeing throughout appointments and escalate concerns appropriately Requirements To be considered, you must have: A Phlebotomy Certificate Minimum 12 months’ experience in blood collection Experience taking patient observations (vital signs) Strong patient care and communication skills Right to Work in the UK Please note: Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from candidates residing in countries listed on the Red or Amber list under the Code of Practice for International Recruitment (WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List).
