We are keen to welcome applications for a Trust Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ST1-2) role. This post is designed for an individual with general Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience to at least FY2 equivalent level. It includes first on call. The post-holder must have current GMC registration.
There are excellent facilities at Frimley Park Hospital including a dedicated ante-natal and gynaecology outpatient area and gynaecology ward. Our operating theatres have recently been refurbished to a high specification with full minimal access facilities.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
1. Assist in the day to day running of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit, including participating in cover of the gynae and maternity wards, gynae emergency patients in ED, labour ward triage and assisting at caesarean sections.
2. Participate in the first on call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
3. Assist in the training of FY2
4. Provide input into the department's teaching/audit programme.
