This is a chance to be part of a hugely successful English department where over 80% of students gained 4+ in 2025. West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is an oversubscribed secondary school in the Black Country, opened in September 2019 with 175 students and now at full capacity with 805 students on roll.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, plan and deliver effective, high-quality learning experiences for all students taught.
* Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students.
* Liaise with teaching colleagues across the Academy to support strategic development, share good practice and plan collaborative activities.
Candidate Profile
* Experience teaching across the key stages; applications from newly qualified teachers are welcome.
* Consistently good/outstanding teaching practice.
* Exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
* Ability to inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils.
* Commitment to raising standards for all and drive to constantly learn and improve.
* Willingness to lead initiatives and evidence of impact.
* Passion to make a difference to others.
* Proficiency with technology for learning and willingness to innovate.
