Vessel Performance & Sustainability Analyst – Permanent – Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire – Competitive package
This is an excellent opportunity to join the performance team within a global LNG owner & operator based in Kingston upon Hull.
The Performance Team is responsible for systems and processes for monitoring commercial, technical, and environmental performance for the fleet of vessels.
The Vessel Performance & Sustainability Analyst will be the first point of contact for the operations teams regarding performance and emissions reporting queries.
Responsibilities include:
* Work closely with all members of the fleet, ship and shore, to enhance operational performance and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
* Provide support to the operations team with performance inquiries, with support from the wider Performance/Marine and Technical Services team as needed.
* Investigate variances in actual performance compared to expected and collaborate with ship teams to understand the reasons behind the data.
* Guide the operations team in ways to improve performance by sharing results and best practices.
* Highlight systematic performance issues to the Performance team for further action.
* Handle EU MRV, FuelEU, and IMO DCS data verification in Veracity, along with updates to monitoring plans and Thetis.
Experience required:
* Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Curious mindset and proactive approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially advanced Excel skills.
* Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Understanding of key performance clauses within charter parties.
* Experience in vessel performance, LNG vessel operations, or seagoing experience.
You must have the right to work in the UK. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week. A competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package are offered.
