With a strong reputation for innovation, reliability, and excellence, we're continuing to grow – and we’re now on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team. Key Responsibilities: * Producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical systems – including HVAC and plumbing. * Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and relevant documents to ensure precise costings * Preparing and submitting tenders in line with client requirements and deadlines * Sourcing and assessing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors * Working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with technical requirements * Carrying out risk assessments and identifying value engineering options * Keeping up to date with current market rates, material costs, and labour trends * Maintaining clear and organised records of all estimating activities What We’re Looking For: * A minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical estimating within the construction or building services industry * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Excellent numerical and analytical skills * Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office programmes * Clear and confident communicator – both written and verbal * A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related subject is preferred, but not essential What’s in it for You: * Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) * Performance-related bonuses * Private health insurance and pension scheme * Support for career progression and professional development * A collaborative, friendly, and supportive team environment Interested?
