Description
Lincs Alarms is a friendly, family-run home security systems specialist.
They are a local company in the Spalding area providing high quality security service
They are now looking to employ 1 apprentice. The successful individual will get the opportunity to work for an established local employer and become a multi-disciplined Fire and Security engineer.
Dagenham/Watford would be their designated training centre for the September induction.
You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work with another engineer.
Initially working with an experienced engineer, learning how to install, maintain, service, and fault find, learning Security and Electrical skills.
You should be committed to developing new skills and gaining knowledge of the industry.
The ideal candidate will need to be willing to learn, good communicator, and a listener. Able to follow instructions.
Entry requirements
* Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS and pass screening
* A driving license is preferable
* Hold maths and English grade 4 or above
* Live within 10 miles of Spalding
Training to be provided
Initially, the apprentice will work alongside experienced engineers, learning and developing in the fields of both fire and security.
The qualification you would be studying towards is the Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
Things to consider
This is a 36 month apprenticeship, full commitment is needed during this time.
