The Information, Digital and Data Team Leader is responsible for the management and delivery of the Information Management Strategy; the provision of quality data and management information to support schools and settings’ performance and risk management; the provision of Data Protection advice and compliance with legislative Freedom of Information (FOIs) and Subject Access Requests (SARs); delivery of Digital Delivery strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the management and delivery of IM Strategy Action Plan and its review to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
Fulfil all aspects of the role of DCS Senior Information Manager.
Provide leadership and oversight of contract management lead for School MIS contracts, consulting with key stakeholders.
Lead the provision of quality data and management information to support performance and risk management.
Lead the provision of sound and appropriate Data Protection Advice and the delivery of an Information Management Governance Strategy that meets business needs, engaging with higher formations when appropriate to ensure systems and controls meet legal requirements and sector best practice.
Lead the Digital Delivery strategy.
Ensure the Information, Digital & Data Team systems and processes effectively underpin legislative requirements to respond to FOI and SAR requests.
Development and management of retention and disposal schedules.
Line management of the Information, Digital & Data team.
