Working closely with the Instrument Maintenance Engineer The key responsibilities for your new role as Instrument Maintenance Technician are as follows:
* Instrumentation preventative and reactive maintenance work.
* Instrumentation plant installation and modification work.
* Instrumentation calibrations, adhering to ISO 9001 standards.
* Statutory inspections.
* Using computerised maintenance management systems.
* Using and interpreting equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all works.
* Working in accordance with the company’s safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
My client is keen to find someone who is Level 3 qualified in a practical control / instrumentation discipline and who possesses strong experience in the repair and maintenance of instrumentation systems. In an ideal world, you will also have a good understanding of ATEX requirements.
Regardless of previous expertise, you will be a team player and be comfortable working in a fast-moving industrial environment.
In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £35,300 - £37,100, dependent on experience, plus additional bonuses. A realistic OTE for this role is £40,000 per year. An excellent benefits package is also on offer, which includes 25 days holiday per year (+ Bank holidays), life assurance, pension scheme, medical cash benefit plan and a generous company sick scheme.
