Job Description
Key tasks – Installations, configurations, migrations, operational support, patching and on‑call support. Monitoring components of storage systems including volumes, LUNs, disk and logs. Responsible for incident, change, problem management and capacity planning. Plan and execute disaster recovery. Backup management and health checks – monitor backup jobs, schedules and logs. Performance monitoring of storage arrays through console. Controller mirroring configuration status from console. Troubleshooting.
Required Core Skills
* System administration: Storage – Dell Powermax, VPLEX, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch.
* Operating systems – VMware and Linux/RedHat.
* Security clearance – BPSS, SC.
* Minimum 4+ years of experience.
