We're hiring a Mechanical Operator Lead to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in Slough!
If you have hands-on experience maintaining mechanical systems—whether in production, automotive, military, or heavy equipment—and enjoy leading teams, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a permanent role with excellent benefits.
What You'll Do:
* Lead front-line maintenance across multiple production machines
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to keep operations running smoothly
* Oversee a small team of operators and temporary staff to meet production goals
* Support continuous improvement by identifying and fixing inefficiencies
* Provide hands-on guidance to ensure daily output and quality targets are achieved
What We’re Looking For:
* 1+ year of experience leading or coordinating operators
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
* Precision in dismantling and reassembling machinery
* Eye for detail and a mindset for improving performance
* Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
