The Ark at Tresillian is located in the centre of Kingsbridge in a large Victorian House with high ceilings and light airy rooms, creating a unique home from home learning environment. We have separate rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.
We are looking for a Room Leader to join our team. The Room Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a designated room within the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5.
This role includes:
1. Leading the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities
2. Supporting and supervising nursery assistants
3. Maintaining high standards of care, hygiene, and safety
4. Building strong relationships with children, families, and professionals
The successful applicant will hold a Level 3 early years and childcare qualification (or working towards), have a commitment to high-quality childcare and an understanding of the EYFS framework.
