Vision for Education are working with a fantastic SEND school in Morpeth to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs. This full-time supply role is available immediately and offers the opportunity to work in a nurturing, inclusive environment where relationships and understanding are central to learning.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with SEND both academically and emotionally, helping them to feel safe, valued, and confident in school. The school is committed to identifying and developing each pupil’s individual skills and talents, promoting respect for others, and supporting positive behaviour. Outdoor learning plays an important role in helping pupils connect with their environment and develop independence.
You will work closely with teachers and specialist staff to create a calm, safe, and welcoming learning environment, supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential.
