Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team at The Burlton Inn. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head Chef or an ambitious Sous Chef ready to take the next step and train into a Head Chef role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a flair for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests. You'll take pride in leading the kitchen team, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety, and contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
* Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly.
* Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
* Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: £12.21-£19.46 per hour
