Based | Bexley

Remote | Office Based

Offer | £30,000 – £32,000

Hi

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established organisation within the not for profit and membership sector, for a Finance Assistant to join their collaborative finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid transactional finance experience who is looking to develop their skills within a structured and supportive environment.

As a Finance Assistant, you will:

* Process purchase invoices and ensure accurate coding to the ledger
* Manage supplier payments and reconcile supplier statements
* Raise sales invoices and support credit control processes
* Process staff expenses and corporate card reconciliations
* Assist with bank reconciliations and cashbook postings
* Support month end and year end finance processes
* Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails

What we’re looking for:

* Experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role
* Strong purchase ledger and sales ledger experience
* Experience using Sage, Xero or similar accounting software
* Good Excel skills including formulas and basic reporting
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
