Full or Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse
Kingston Vets have a fantastic opportunity for a registered veterinary nurse to join their team. This job offers a variety of duties, and no 2 days are the same, our team of dedicated nurses are proud of the care we provide.
You will assist in the daily running and all routine operations, running nurse clinics, putting up and dispensing prescriptions, being involved and supporting the learning of the trainee nurses, and most importantly offering the best customer and animal care services to both our clients and pets.
Find flexibility in your rota
We are happy to discuss part time and flexible working for the right candidate. The full time hours are 40 hours across 5 days per week. We do not have any out-of-hours, but our nurse team do cover a rota for inpatients if required. Saturday mornings are on a rota basis, and it works out as a 1:4 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Salary is up to £31,000 depending on experience.

Over the years, the practice has expanded with a small animal surgery in Yeovil and equine branches located in Longburton and Buckhorn Weston. About the Team and Culture
We have 10 Veterinary Surgeons, as we are a mixed practice some work between large and small animal caseloads, 5 registered veterinary nurses, 2 Trainee nurses and a support team of 13. Across the sites, we have 2 certificate holders and we specialise in Laparoscopic spays. We hold regular events for team-building purposes and support local charities, events and shows, and we hold regular meetings for the farming community.
