About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Site Quality Inspector to visit completed work sites across Wales and ensure all works have been carried out to the required standards. This role involves travelling between sites, assessing cleanliness and workmanship, recording findings, and uploading data into our internal system.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Travel to various work sites across Wales to conduct post‑completion inspections.
* Check that sites are clean, safe, and that all works meet required specification.
* Record data accurately using a handheld device or online system.
* Take photographs and complete digital reports for each site.
* Flag any defects or issues for corrective action.
* Move efficiently from job to job, managing your own daily schedule.
* Work predominantly on weekends, with optional weekday work available.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in site inspection, utilities, construction, reinstatement, or similar field (desirable but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or incomplete works.
* Comfortable travelling across Wales and working independently.
* Good communication and reporting skills.
* Reliable, organised, and self‑motivated.
* Own van preferred; however, we may be able to supply one for the right candidate.
* Willingness to work weekends (mandatory).
