JOB DETAILS
PAY RATE: £32 - £35 per hour
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: Birmingham (3 days office-based)
JOB SUMMARY
Experienced and committed Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding Team, working within Duty Triage. This is a key frontline role focused on safeguarding adults at risk and ensuring timely, proportionate responses to safeguarding concerns
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
Undertake duty triage of safeguarding concerns and referrals
Carry out Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014
Make informed decisions to manage risk and protect vulnerable adults
Work collaboratively with internal teams and partner agencies
Maintain accurate, timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
Essential:
Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma in Social Work)
Registered with Social Work England
Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience within Adult Social Care
Proven experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practice
