Key Responsibilities 1. To professionally and confidentially support patients and clinicians to ensure a high standard and efficient service 2. Answering telephone calls: Responsible for providing the 'Best' Customer Service, every call...every patient. a. Ensure the call itself, is handled efficiently, accurately and timely, whilst maintaining a warm, calm and professional approach. b. Efficiently and appropriately submit patient requests via our online triage system with the upmost discretion c. Book patients into appointments accurately by collection and recording of patient data d. Efficiently and appropriately relaying messages to any other member of the practice team and associated staff in the appropriate way. 3. Keep the reception and waiting room areas clean and tidy, making sure the area is hazard free 4. Manage the patient information on the notice boards and ensure information is current and tidy 5. Manage patient expectations and deliver an appropriate service 6. Assist and support other staff, both clinical and non-clinical in the day to day running of the admin and reception areas 7. Be responsible for opening/closing branch surgeries and following procedures to ensure the surgery is secure 8. Undertake daily tasks as allocated by your line manager 9. Inputting data to the patients record in accordance with guidance 10. Handling monies in line with company policies 11. Adhering to relevant SOPs 12. Dealing with enquiries flowed to the Reception team in professional and appropriate manner. 13. All other tasks associated with Health Care administration 14. Distribute pre-prepared medications to dispensing patients as per Dispensers instructions 15. Ensure security checks are made for patients before providing information or supplies, such as prescriptions 16. Restock reception supplies on the front desk and regularly clear prescription and filing areas three monthly 17. To ensure any CQC requirements and/or documentation for which the post holder is responsible for is completed timely and accurately. 18. To also ensure any procedures and processes applicable to the role are followed timely and accurately. 19. To assist the Management Team with all clerical and administrative duties as required. 20. Such other duties as may reasonably be delegated.
