Join our team as a Junior Maintenance Engineer and immerse yourself in a manufacturing environment. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our client's machinery and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer: Shadow the Production Manager to learn maintenance leadership responsibilities and best practices. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery and replacing parts Provide excellent customer service to internal departments Assist in coordinating maintenance activities and resource deployment. Provide timely support for machine breakdowns to minimize downtime. Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks on production machinery. Participate in reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance activities. Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Efficiently identify and rectify faults to optimise productivity. Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer: Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred. Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with maintenance practices. Ability to conduct thorough inspections. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Team player with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
