Excellent opportunity for a digital media generalist with creative and and analytical skills.
The Communications Officer is responsible for the coordination and development of key communication channels for the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. Delivering vital messaging to over 7,000 staff and students, the media and the wider public via the external website, internal Sharepoint site, social media channels, and internal and external newsletters.
You will work with colleagues to facilitate great stories during an exciting time for the Faculty were launching new CPD courses, a new podcast and a visual redesign as part of a fresh and innovative new outward media-facing strategy.
You will be responsible for various digital platforms that enable storytelling and to reach our audiences. Youll be responsible for managing our webpages understanding the user journey and ensuring the site is compliant with web governance standards creating an engaging and representative space for the Faculty and its Departments.
Alongside this you will work with the wider team to ensure our effectiveness on social media, our new external newsletters and storytelling channels particularly on YouTube.
This role will also have a governance and coordinating role for the delivery of our internal newsletters and the function of the Faculty Portal, operated on Sharepoint.
