Environment Planning and Engagement Manager - 32150
Are you passionate about protecting communities and want to help make our environment a better place? If you want the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the environment of 6.2 million people across the West Midlands every day, this is the role for you.
We’re looking for a high‑performing individual to help shape delivery of outcomes across the West Midlands. As our Environment Planning and Engagement (EPE) Manager you will lead our Executive Coordination Management team and a high‑quality Communication and Engagement service for the West Midlands area and our customers. You will focus on the day‑to‑day running of our business, ensuring we make the best use of our resources, understand how we’re delivering our priorities, and demonstrate how we’re efficient and effective. This role is fundamental to the Area Leadership Team, helping to drive integrations across our remit and our West Midlands culture. Your work will be conducted in a high‑freedom environment that prioritises health, safety, wellbeing, inspirational leadership and development.
As a leadership role you will be an active and visible member of the Area Leadership Team inside and outside the organisation, role‑modeling our leadership behaviours, creating an inclusive environment where people can be their best, and working closely with all ALT across the wide range of issues within our remit.
As responding to incidents is a central part of what we do, you will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
