Salary: £26,000 – £28,000

Hours: Monday – Friday | Day Shifts
My client, a specialist forklift and materials handling company, is seeking an organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join their dedicated service team. This is a key frontline position, responsible for supporting the smooth running of the service operation.
The Role – Service Coordinator (Materials Handling) In this busy and varied role, you will coordinate the day-to-day activities of field-based engineers, ensuring breakdowns and service jobs are allocated efficiently and completed to a high standard.
This is a cradle-to-grave position where you will:
Open and manage service jobs from start to finish
Allocate breakdowns and planned work to engineers
Liaise with customers and engineers throughout the job lifecycle
Process service documentation accurately
Ensure clear communication between all parties
Support the overall efficiency of the service departmentYou’ll be a central part of the operation, dealing with both internal teams and external customers, so strong organisation and communication skills are essential.
Skills & Experience
Experience coordinating a field-based team of engineers (ideally within materials handling, plant, or a similar industry)
Strong communication skills – confident liaising with engineers and management
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
Positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
