Base pay range
Job Title: Business Development and Sales Support Executive
Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
Salary: £24,500 - £26,500/year base + discretionary company bonus
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

About the role:
This varied and rewarding role combines outbound business development, sales support, and account management, ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative B2B service environment.
Build quality relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities
Prepare tailored product quotations based on customer requirements
Source and identify new sales opportunities
Follow up on customer inquiries that have not yet converted to a sale
Maintain an up-to-date CRM with leads, opportunities, and activities to ensure a smooth customer experience
Proactively target market sectors to develop your sales area
Generate new inquiries and convert existing projects into live orders
Represent the company professionally, showing general interest in products at all timesAbout you:
The ideal candidate will be a punctual and hardworking individual who enjoys being part of a small, fast-paced team.
Track record of delivering high levels of achievement
GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent
Strong customer service ethic with a passion for continuous improvement
A team player who can also work independently and take ownership of their pipeline and workload
Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with clients, nurturing them professionally
Ability to work in a structured way, independently and as a team member, to achieve targets and deadlines
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience in managing and nurturing relationships with potential customers
Confident telephone manner
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn
Resilience & patience to deal with difficult situations
Good time keeping

This is a full-time position with an immediate start. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:15 pm and Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (38 hours per week).
