DescriptionSupporting documentsEmployerLocation

We have an increased number of students from September 2025 and are looking for committed Care Assistants to support students in the residential settings within our school and college with some Teaching Assistant duties. Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role. You will work closely with other care professionals to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the independence and dignity of our students. A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required, if you don’t already have this qualification you will need to commence the course once you have joined us.

St Rose’s is an inspiring, stimulating and rewarding place to work, where new challenges abound. We have a strong commitment to support staff in continuing their professional development, and we offer many ways to achieve this. Our staff enjoy a strong sense of community and professional support, as well as a lively and cheerful environment to work in. In addition, there are many other benefits for staff, including a central Stroud location with easy access to buses and trains; on-site parking, attractive grounds, low-cost lunches and subsidised nursery places.

We are also offering a joining reward of £100 after the successful completion of 6 months’ probation and a further £100 after the first year of employment. More details of all our benefits can be found in the application pack for candidates.

Candidates will require an enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references prior to taking up the post. Applications should be made by application form only. CV’s will not be accepted. For an informal conversation about these positions, or to visit, please contact either Jo Pearch, Lead Nurse/Care Manager or Scott Townson, Trainee Care Manager.
