Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team at our busy Eurocentral distribution hub. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily warehouse activities, including the efficient movement of goods, people management, and health & safety compliance.
As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll work closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate a team of operatives, maintain high performance standards, and help implement continuous improvements across the operation.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound/outbound deliveries, stock control, and order fulfilment
* Allocate tasks, monitor workloads, and support team performance to meet operational targets
* Conduct staff briefings and ensure clear communication across shifts
* Enforce health & safety, hygiene, and quality control standards at all times
* Train and mentor warehouse staff, including new starters
* Liaise with transport, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations
* Contribute to operational reporting and help identify areas for efficiency improvements
* Support shift handovers and cover as needed for other supervisors or managers
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role (essential)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Working knowledge of warehouse systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards
* Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence is desirable, but not essential
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours when required
