Our client is a highly-regarded defendant law firm with offices nationwide. They are looking for a senior associate, legal director or partner with strong defendant insurance experience to join as a Business Development Lawyer in their Manchester office. This is a non-fee-earning role.
Your new role
Responsibilities will include:
* Contributing to the development of practice area(s) within the firm through business development and marketing strategies.
* Attend internal and external strategy meetings designed to manage client relationships.
* Identify and engage target clients.
* Identify legal/regulatory changes to market services.
* Lead client events with input from business development and marketing teams.
* Develop non-technical marketing aligned with group strategy.
* Create and distribute technical legal content
* Manage and co-ordinate projects for the insurance practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with a minimum of 6 years PQE. Applicants must have strong defendant insurance experience and excellent business development skills. Previous experience developing your own practice is desirable. A strong academic background, excellent communication/presenting
