A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a regional construction company based in the Lincolnshire region, working across Lincolnshire and the northern regions. The company has continued to grow and has developed an excellent reputation for quality of service and on-time delivery of works.
This role involves supporting project teams with safety matters on site, conducting inspections, participating in site meetings, and assisting with audits. Candidates will liaise and work with key project and on-site team members to provide practical and sound advice, which may include producing accident reports and conducting investigations.
As an autonomous role reporting directly to the Head of Health and Safety, you will be the primary contact for projects in Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. A key aspect of the role is to influence change and build strong relationships with management and project delivery teams.
Candidates must have experience working within the construction industry and a track record of building sustainable relationships with contracts teams and site managers. CDM knowledge is essential, and experience across a range of projects is required. Knowledge of ISO management systems would be advantageous.
Ideally, candidates will hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate, but more importantly, they should have 3-5 years of experience working directly on site with principal or sub-contractors. The ability to travel throughout the region is necessary, with some time spent in the office, supported by the company's flexible working arrangements.
