Working closely with Attorneys and Paralegals, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of a varied portfolio of trade mark matters, ensuring deadlines are met, cases progress smoothly and clients receive a first-class service. This is a broad and varied position, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of processes and being at the heart of a busy IP practice.<br></span></p></div><div><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Managing and maintaining trade mark case diaries, ensuring all deadlines are monitored and actioned</li><li>Processing and allocating incoming correspondence to the appropriate teams and Fee Earners</li><li>Preparing and filing UK, EU, International and foreign trade mark applications and associated documentation</li><li>Monitoring and updating official deadlines arising from applications and official actions</li><li>Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day queries and correspondence</li><li>Managing Fee Earner inboxes and calendars, ensuring urgent matters are prioritised appropriately</li><li>Preparing standard and non-standard correspondence to clients, overseas associates and Intellectual Property Offices</li><li>Maintaining accurate records across the firms IP management systems</li><li>Supporting the administration of trade mark watching services and reporting results to clients</li><li>Assisting with assignments, licences, changes of name and address and other recordal matters</li><li>Conducting basic online trade mark searches and preparing draft reports</li><li>Preparing invoice requests, monitoring billing and assisting with work in progress management</li><li>Liaising with internal departments including Records, Renewals and Accounts to ensure the smooth progression of matters</li></ul></div><div><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>Previous experience within a Trade Mark Administration, Trade Mark Formalities or IP Administration role</li><li>A strong understanding of the trade mark filing and prosecution process</li><li>CITMA Trade Mark Paralegal qualification, or working towards it, would be advantageous but is not essential</li><li>Experience using UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO online filing systems</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously</li><li>Strong communication skills and confidence liaising directly with clients and colleagues</li><li>High levels of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Experience using IP management systems such as Inprotech would be beneficial</li><li>A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in intellectual property</li></ul></div><div><h2>Whats on Offer?</h2><ul><li>Competitive salary and attractive benefits package</li><li>Flexible hybrid working arrangement</li><li>The opportunity to work with a diverse and high-quality client portfolio</li><li>Ongoing training and professional development opportunities</li><li>A friendly, supportive and collaborative working environment</li><li>Excellent long-term career prospects within a respected intellectual property practice</li></ul></div><div><h2></h2><p><span>#INDGEMS<br></span></p></div>
