Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Water Purification Location: Home-Based (Birmingham & Midlands Region) Salary: £35,000+ DOE Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established water purification business, supporting clients across the Birmingham area and wider Midlands region. This is a home-based role, typically covering a 65–100 mile radius, with the M5/M42 corridor forming the core area of operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a regional role with reduced long-distance travel, while still working on a wide range of water treatment systems. Occasional support may be required for other regions during holiday cover. Key Responsibilities: * Installation, commissioning, servicing, and fault-finding on water purification equipment * Working on systems including Reverse Osmosis (RO), De-ionisation (DI/EDI), Water Softeners, Filtration systems, pumps, tanks, and pure water ring mains * Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support * Ensuring all work is completed to customer specifications and industry standards * Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation * Providing a high level of customer service on-site Requirements: * Proven experience within water treatment / water purification * Strong working knowledge of RO, DI/EDI, soften...
