Elayos is a Birmingham-based charity established in September 2019 to provide emotional and practical support families in need. They support women & birthing people throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period by offering practical, physical, emotional, and informational support. Elayos works in partnership with NHS professionals, social workers, charity workers, and other support workers to provide care to those in deprived populations to improve maternity outcomes in Birmingham.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Community & Corporate Fundraiser at Elayos. The Fundraiser will be responsible for daily tasks related to community engagement, organising fundraising events, creating fundraising campaigns, and cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors. This position is located in Birmingham but allows for some work from home flexibility.
Qualifications
* Experience in community engagement and fundraising
* Event planning and campaign creation skills
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently
* Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Experience with donor relations and corporate sponsorships
* Passion for supporting maternal wellbeing and advocacy
