Test & Integration Engineer
We’re looking for a Test & Integration Engineer with a strong background in electronics and mechanics to support the design, integration, and reliability of a complex electro-mechanical product range.
There will be a great opportunity to further develop your skills and grow the role long term.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping both current and future products — improving system designs, solving real-world technical challenges, managing engineering changes, and supporting new product introductions from concept through to production.
Our products involve complex electro-mechanical assemblies, incorporating electronics and precision components. This is a hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys working across disciplines and fault finding / problem solving.
What you’ll be doing:
Testing, integrating and improving electro-mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on existing products down to component level
Support new product development and product launches
Manage engineering changes and contribute to continuous improvement
Develop automated test systems to monitor and verify product performance
Produce clear, accurate technical documentation including specifications, test reports, and change notes
Work closely with manufacturing to improve quality, efficiency, and delivery
Support customer-facing teams with technical expertise, training, and problem resolution
Review competitor products and contribute ideas for new features and future product roadmapsTo succeed as Test & Integration Engineer you will ideally have:
Experience working with complex electro-mechanical products, and be comfortable bridging the gap between electronics, mechanics, and systems performance.
Key skills and experience:
Experience troubleshooting electronics at component and system level
Ability to read electronic schematics and analyse performance data
Experience designing, testing, and assembling complete product systems
Comfortable working in manufacturing and engineering environments
Ideally you will be HNC/D / degree (or equivalent) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar
3–5 years’ experience in a comparable engineering role
In return you will be rewarded with a varied and technically interesting role within a team based environment offering on-going development opportunities
