Maintenance & Asset Coordinator

Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance & Asset Coordinator on behalf of a leading organisation within a regulated environment.
This role is responsible for the effective management and continuous improvement of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), supporting maintenance planning, coordination, and compliance across site operations.
The successful candidate will act as a key interface between engineering, operations, and quality teams, ensuring maintenance activities are delivered efficiently and in line with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and manage the CMMS database, ensuring accuracy of asset data, maintenance schedules, and work orders
* Coordinate preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities
* Monitor and track work orders to ensure timely completion and compliance
* Support service desk operations, ensuring efficient ticket management
* Liaise with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align maintenance with production schedules
* Facilitate planning and scheduling meetings
* Coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely delivery of maintenance activities
* Ensure all work complies with GMP and relevant regulatory standards
* Support audits and inspections through accurate documentation and reporting
* Produce maintenance performance reports, KPIs, and backlog analysis
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
* Provide CMMS training and support to users
Requirements
Essential:
* Experience using CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, or similar)
* Background in a regulated environment
* Strong understanding of maintenance planning and asset lifecycle management
* Experience working with cross-functional teams
* Ability to analyse maintenance data and produce reports
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Desirable:
* Experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences environments
* Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance
* Familiarity with validation, CAPA, and change control processes
* Experience in maintenance scheduling or shutdown planning
* Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives
* Understanding of asset reliability methodologies
* Awareness of EHS requirements
