Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The position involves maintaining and improving a range of production equipment and site services, ensuring machinery operates efficiently, minimising downtime, and supporting overall operational performance. It is ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault finding and hands‑on work.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across site equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
* Support the continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
* Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records and schedules.
* Work closely with production teams to support operational requirements.
* Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely at all times.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
* Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills.
* Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
* Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance.
* Good understanding of health and safety practices.
* Self‑motivated with a proactive and hands‑on approach.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Salary circa £50,000 depending on experience.
* Working hours 7am to 5pm and 5am to 3pm.
