The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is conducted safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Conduct routine testing and inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues. (EICR's)
Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all work activities.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Have a strong work ethic and commitment to high standards of workmanship
Experience and Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrician.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
* Ability to read technical documents and manuals.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are required
* Full, valid UK driving licence
